Dust Removal: Use a soft microfiber cloth to gently dust off the surface. This helps prevent dirt from scratching the acrylic when you start cleaning it.
Prepare a Cleaning Solution: Mix a mild dish soap with warm water. Avoid harsh chemicals or ammonia-based cleaners, as these can damage the acrylic surface.
Wipe with Soft Cloth: Dampen a microfiber or soft cotton cloth in the soapy water and gently wipe the acrylic surface. Don’t soak the cloth, as excess water can seep into seams or edges.
Rinse: Use another clean, damp cloth with just water to wipe away any soap residue.
Dry the Surface: Gently dry the acrylic sheet with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to prevent water spots.
Optional Polish: For extra shine, you can use a special acrylic cleaner or polish (just be sure it’s safe for acrylic). Apply it with a soft cloth and buff the surface gently.
Things to Avoid:
Avoid cleaning products with alcohol, acetone, or ammonia.
